Job Summary

Reports To : Principal

Salary : Based on salary schedule for 235 days.

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

Evaluation : Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of personnel.

Qualifications :

• Should be physically capable of performing duties required by the position.
• Should possess sufficient ability to carry out duties in an intelligent manner.
• Should have a high school education or GED.
• Should be orderly and willing to learn new techniques of maintenance and housekeeping.
• Should be dependable, able to get along with people teachers, principals, and patrons.
• Must be able to plan and organize his / her work in the proper housekeeping of the assigned physical plant or building.
• Must complete a criminal background check through the Alabama State Department of Education at your own expense.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.
