Accounting Support Specialist Position Objective : Work with Owners, Director of Finance & Human Resources on all office daily operations thereby ensuring company core values, client satisfaction and revenue increase.
- Open mail daily
- Manage payables via automation solution
- Update payables entries from spreadsheet into QuickBooks
- Perform daily sales transaction
- Make online payments for any bills that can be paid online
- File and pay monthly sales tax
- Reconcile third-party vendor payment receivables
- Manage and coordinate i-Pad repair / replacement process
- Assist with contacting landlords when needed
- Assist with contacting utility companies
- Coordinate closure schedules for cleaning ect
- Coordinate maintenance ie; fire extinguishers update, when someone will be to a location to fix something
- Information Gathering and Form Completion
- Assist in Permitting Requirements and Filings
- Review payroll hours spreadsheet
- Review revenue comparison spreadsheet
- Respond to Unemployment Claims
- Using onboarding tool, manage onboarding candidate's status, by following up with location GM's
- Manage onboarding tool questions / problem resolution
o Follow up with location manager to track candidate's status
o Ensure all processes are being completed in a timely fashion
o Manage software side of the onboarding and DHS e-verify system
Update employee rostersChargeback investigation and send emails to location teamAssist with plan administration for LTD / STD / Life / Health and 401k benefitsThis position offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity, with three days in the office and two days remote.
Preferred Qualifications :
Associate's degree in Accounting
QuickBooks experience
