Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher licensed in Moderate / Severe disabilities, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year in Sacramento, CA. This full-time, direct hire position serves students from transitional kindergarten through adult transition, depending on placement, within a K-12 setting. Caseloads typically include up to 12 students, allowing for targeted, individualized support.

Key Qualifications :

  • Valid Moderate / Severe Special Education teaching license
  • Experience working with students across TK-6, TK-8, middle school (7-8), or adult transition programs
  • Ability to manage caseloads of approximately 12 students
  • Strong mitment to differentiated instruction and student advocacy
  • Effective munication and collaboration skills with families and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies to support academic, behavioral, and social development
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure integrated service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with state and federal regulations
  • Location : Sacramento, California (K-12 school environment)
