Job Description

Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and experienced diesel tractor / trailer mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered tractors and trailers to ensure their safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform routine maintenance on diesel tractors and trailers, including oil changes, tire rotations, and vehicle inspections.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on diesel tractors and trailers.
Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other components.
Replace worn or damaged parts, such as brakes, tires, and suspension components.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on diesel tractors and trailers.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Diesel mechanic degree or a minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with specific experience working on tractors and trailers.

In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Ability to use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot issues.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to lift 75 pounds.

Class A CDL or the ability to obtain.
