Project Designer-EIT- Water / Wastewater Focus

Location : Twin Falls, ID

While applying technical civil engineering knowledge and skills, this engineering position will :

  • Work with multidisciplinary design teams in the planning, design, construction and permitting of a wide variety of water, wastewater / sewer, stormwater, irrigation, and general utility projects.
  • Analyze engineering data and utilize sound engineering judgement to produce engineering documents including studies, feasibility analyses, technical memoranda, preliminary engineering reports, facility plans, opinions of probable construction cost, construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Develop business by building relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate with clients, subconsultants, operators, regulatory agencies, funding agencies, and contractors on project requirements and deliverables.
  • Perform periodic fieldwork including construction observation and project reconnaissance.
  • Utilize design tools such as Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD / Civil3D, GIS, and water / sewer hydraulic models.

Requirements :

  • EIT : Certification as Engineer-in-Training (passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam).
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering
  • 0-4 years of civil engineering experience with increasing responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    • Salary Range : $72,000 – $87,000 yearly, determined by experience
