Position Overview
Oneida Technical Solutions, LLC (OTS), a subsidiary of Oneida Innovations Group, is seeking a Senior Trainer / System Administration Specialist to support a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Air Operations Center (AOC) Program running through Summer of 2026. This role combines advanced system administration expertise with training development and delivery, both virtually and in-person. The ideal candidate will design and deliver interactive, multimedia-based training programs aligned with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) requirements and international partner needs.
Key Responsibilities Training Design & Delivery
- Develop comprehensive training programs for AOC system administrators, maintainers, operators, and cybersecurity personnel.
- Collaborate with SMEs, engineers, and instructional designers to translate complex systems into effective, engaging training content.
- Deliver classroom-based and practical instruction, including Train-the-Trainer sessions, with a focus on technical systems in secure environments.
- Facilitate training delivery OCONUS (Middle East), maintaining cultural sensitivity and adaptability in diverse settings. Course Development & LMS Integration
- Create syllabi, instructional guides, lab exercises, and courseware tailored for technical audiences.
- Integrate training materials into Learning Management Systems (LMS), including configuration, user access, and tracking.
- Develop interactive learning tools and assessments to measure comprehension and reinforce critical learning objectives.
System Administration & Technical Support
Provide expert-level system administration for Windows and Linux environments.Manage system architecture related to cloud, virtualization, and secure computing infrastructure (e.g., VDI, endpoint protection).Administer network services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PowerShell, Cisco Routing / Switching).Support secure operations and monitoring using tools like Splunk, Forescout, Nexpose, Ivanti, and Palo Alto.Security & Compliance
Conduct vulnerability assessments, patch management, and system hardening.Implement security systems including firewalls, anti-malware, and endpoint security solutions.Ensure alignment with DoD cybersecurity standards and customer-defined secure coding practices.Project Support & Stakeholder Engagement
Attend and participate in program and customer meetings to assess training effectiveness and operational readiness.Provide reporting and documentation to leadership and external stakeholders.Participate in continuous improvement of training processes and system support procedures.Required Qualifications
Security Clearance : Active DoD Secret Clearance.Education : Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field - or 5+ years of relevant experience.Experience :Minimum 5 years in system administration or technical training. o Direct experience with Command & Control (C2) or AOC systems. o Proven success in instructional delivery in international or high-security environments.
Technical Proficiency :Windows Server and / or Linux administration. o Networking (DNS, TCP / IP, VPN, HTTP / S, DHCP). o Scripting (PowerShell, Bash). o Systems such as Active Directory, Splunk, Forescout, and endpoint security tools.
Virtual labs, cloud infrastructure, and LMS platforms. o Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) including templates, macros, and forms.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with C4I systems (Link 16, Voice Communications, GBAD, ACS / IDS).Familiarity with secure cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.Adobe Creative Suite proficiency (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro).Experience developing content for non-native English speakers.Professional certifications : Security+, Network+, CCNA, MCSA, or equivalent .Middle East experience or prior OCONUS deployment is a strong plus.Core Competencies & Expectations
