Professional Project Services Inc. has an upcoming opportunity for a Cost Estimator-Senior (Direct Hire) position at our office in Knoxville, TN.

Pro2Serve provides solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of government and private clients. We support the defense, energy, and science markets through responsive, cost-effective execution of critical security, facilities and infrastructure, nuclear defense and nonproliferation, and environmental projects.

The candidate should have experience providing cost estimating, cost engineering, and related services, plus a business background in the federal sector, preferably with the US Army Corps of Engineers, US Department of Energy, and other federal agencies.

Successful candidates should have senior (or Staff / Junior) level skills and experience in several of the following categories :

• Material Take Off
• Cost Estimating
• Cost Engineering
• Cost Analysis
• Project Management / Leadership
• Planning and Scheduling
• Cost Management Consulting

Project management leadership and management of project teams. Management and development of technical work products (cost estimates and related products). Establish and maintain client relationships. Develop and edit technical reports. Provide status reports and operational briefs to clients and corporate management. Discuss project requirements and procedures with management, production, and marketing staff. Coordinate and direct projects, evaluate and oversee resources. Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making procurement decisions.
