job_description.job_card.job_description5+ years of professional video editing experience (agency, brand, or direct-to-consumer e-commerce experience highly preferred). Proven track record of editing successful ads for paid media campaigns. Expertise in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and persuasive editing techniques. Familiarity with performance marketing metrics (CTR, conversions, hook & hold rates for retention measurement) is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment. A strong portfolio showcasing ads and marketing-driven content is required. 100% Remote, flexible work. Competitive contractor compensation : $1,500–$2,500 / month . Work on high-growth brands with large-scale ad spend.

This role requires not just technical editing expertise, but also a marketing mindset—knowing how to structure and cut content to maximize attention, engagement, and conversions.
What You’ll Do
- Edit short-form and long-form video content tailored for paid advertising campaigns.
- Transform raw footage into polished, high-performing ads optimized for scroll-stopping engagement.
- Apply principles of storytelling, marketing, and persuasion to maximize audience impact.
- Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and strategy teams to bring campaign concepts to life.
- Stay on top of trends in social media, advertising, and editing styles to keep content fresh and competitive.
