School Social Worker Needed | Kansas City, MO | 25-26 School Year

Salary : $42 / Hour

Step into a pivotal role where you'll be the heartbeat of a multidisciplinary team, guiding students through social work interventions with empathy and expertise. As a School Social Worker, you will play a crucial part in developing Individualized Health Plans (IHP) and Individualized Education Programs (IEP) to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive academically and personally.

Location : Kansas City, MO

Compensation : $42 / Hour

Hours : 37.5 / Week

Grade Levels : K-8

Schedule : Monday - Friday (No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays)

Duration : 25-26 School Year

Weekly Pay

Start : 2 weeks after offer

Requirements : Master's Degree

Active LCSW License

The Social Worker collaborates with the multidisciplinary team and provides input in the development of the IHP / IEP for students requiring social work intervention and support in the school setting.

Minimum Requirements :

Holds a Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement as required by state, contract and / or facility

May be required to have MSW or LCSW per state, contract or facility

Current CPR if applicable

TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements?

Must be at least 18 years of age
