Elevate the health of our community About the Position The Clinical Pharmacist at Harris Health will ensure the pharmacy department is facilitating safe medication use and meets all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements while complying with all applicable policies and procedures.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide pharmacy services to patients, nurses, physicians, and other staff by interpreting and evaluating the validity of medication orders and prescriptions.

In line with this, it will be important for you to integrate core clinical pharmacy knowledge as you dispense and order review activities.

The Clinical Pharmacist will also perform order entry, pharmacokinetics, IV to PO, therapeutic interchange, and other clinical activities.  About Harris Health Systems Harris Health is a nationally recognized health system comprising three teaching hospitals and an extensive network of ambulatory care centers serving the people of Harris County, Texas, since 1966.
