Paving Laborer

EK Services Inc. is seeking a laborer for our paving crews.

E.K. Services Inc. is dedicated to the continuous improvement of our community's infrastructure. Our passion for excellence serves as the driving force for our safety-focused, solution-oriented approach.

A paving laborer performs tasks involving physical labor to include lutes black top, shovel material and performs traffic control operations. Assists other workers as required in various operations.

Major duties & responsibilities :

  • Seals asphalt joints
  • Operates street cut saw
  • Lutes blacktop
  • Operates medium sized equipment (Skid Steer, Screed, Small Roller)
  • Wears all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Complies with all company and OSHA mandated safety and health guidelines
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

    • Education / training :

    Willing to train the right person with good work ethic. Asphalt paving labor experience a plus.
