Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring a CA RN license and at least 2 years of high-acuity PICU experience.

Responsibilities Position is in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) within a hospital setting

Patient population includes birth to 18 years old with high acuity cases

Clinical skills required include care for metabolic, respiratory, endocrinology, oncology, neurosurgical, and cardiology patients, as well as level 1 trauma

Procedures include arterial lines, conscious sedation, CRRT, and ECMO

Assignment is 13 weeks, working 3x12 hour night shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00

Float required primarily to NICU and CVICU, but may float to any area as needed

Every other weekend required

No call required

Uses Cerner for documentation

First-time travelers are welcome

Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays during the assignment

Maximum of 7 days RTO (Requested Time Off) accepted

Preference for candidates with previous assignments longer than 8 weeks at similar high volume, high acuity facilities

Requirements Active CA RN license required

Minimum 2 years of high acuity, high census PICU experience

Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, PALS

Experience with Cerner EMR required

Skills required : arterial lines, conscious sedation, CRRT, ECMO, and critical care for a variety of complex pediatric conditions
