Position & Client Overview :

Located in the beautiful rural state of Montana, one of our clients is looking for a laboratory manager to oversee day to day operations in the core laboratory on the day shift.

This small clinic and hospital is located close to Havre, the eighth-largest city in Montana and is a rural agricultural community. It offers a year-round retreat for nature lovers, recreation enthusiasts and history buffs. Besides recreation, Havre is also rich in cultural attractions ranging from concerts, live theater, museums, shops, galleries, numerous sporting activities and events.

Use your time off to check out some of the many things to do during all four seasons in Montana. Check out downhill and cross-country skiing, ice climbing, and dog sledding. Consider taking a sleigh ride through Montana’s winter wonderland or book a snowcoach tour through Yellowstone National Park to stay warm while spotting wildlife at a relaxed pace. If the outdoors isn’t your speed, meander through the art galleries, museums and historic sites taking in the western and Native American culture. When it’s warm, visit water parks, take in an outdoor concert, or check out one of Montana’s relaxing spas.

Salary Range : $80,000-100,000

Job Summary :

Responsible for the management and administrative functions for the laboratory. Responsible for policy development and implementation, regulatory compliance and quality assurance. Supervision is exercised over laboratory supervisors, clinical staff and support staff.

Skill Requirements :

• Managing and authoring processes and procedures
• Training and presenting technical information to staff
• QA / QC of the departments
• Fiscal and budgeting responsibilities
