Description : LPN or RN – PER DIEM

Riverside Industries, Inc. is actively looking for a PER DIEM LPN or RN to join our dedicated team at One Cottage Street in Easthampton, MA. The purpose of this PER DIEM LPN or RN is to provide 1 : 1 medical services and direct support to identified participants in order to maximize their health, independence, skills, and self-esteem as well as to empower them to take control over the things in their lives that they value. This position complements the basic purpose of the services provided and the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Essential functions of the PER DIEM LPN include, but are not limited to :

• Assists participants with personal care, medical and therapeutic interventions
• Performs physical labor including moving, lifting, escorting, and using approved lift and transfer techniques
• Responds to emergency medical situations
• . Acts as liaison with significant service delivery team individuals (guardians, residential staff, physicians, etc.) about medical issues
• Keeps medical records up to date; reviews charts; records medications; maintains current emergency files. Documents in each participant record any recommendations from periodic reviews
• Attends to medical emergencies
• Ensures and protects the privacy and human rights of the people that Riverside supports by adhering to HIPAA, DDS, Medicaid, and Riverside Industries, Inc. policies and procedures
• Exercises good judgment in all aspects of essential job functions

This is not a remote position

Pay : $40.00 / hour

Shift : 9AM - 3PM (Monday-Friday)
