Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM
Pay Rate : $21–$26 / hour (based on experience)
About the Role :
LHH is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established organization in Long Beach. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who recently completed HR coursework or has 1–2 years of HR experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Scan and digitize paper HR files into our electronic filing system.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist walk-in employees and visitors.
- Perform general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document organization.
- Support the HR team with basic tasks and learn the Leave of Absence (LOA) process over time.
Ideal Candidate :
Recently completed a degree or certification in Human Resources or a related field.1–2 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role preferred.Comfortable with repetitive tasks such as scanning and filing.Friendly, professional, and able to provide excellent front-desk support.Eager to learn and grow within the HR field.Seniority level
