Electrical Service Technician

Service Electrician

The Service Electrician is responsible for servicing and installing electrical systems and equipment. Individuals in this position will service, repair, and maintain systems of all types in a client's facility during normal working hours and are available to be listed as "on-call" 24x7 on a rotating basis. They will also perform small project electrical installations. Service Electricians will report to a Service Manager or Project Manager.

Position Requirements :

• Journeyman Electrician's License
• Thorough knowledge of the electrical trade and the NEC
• Understands and implements OSHA requirements and the company's electric safety policies
• Strong commercial and industrial electrical background
• Strong troubleshooting skills utilizing sophisticated test equipment as applicable (DMM, Megger, IR Camera, Etc.)
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, and clients
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times
• Maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy
• Able to be on twenty-four hour call on a rotating basis, as needed
• Physically able to perform the duties of the position
• Able to work in a team environment
• Strong personal interaction and communication skills
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.
