The Chief of Staff plays a critical role in supporting the CEO, functioning as a liaison between them, executive leadership, and stakeholders in the external environment. They are responsible for overseeing the CEO's daily operational needs, ensuring effective coordination of cross-functional teams, delivery of strategic projects, and facilitating communication.
What You Will Do to Change Lives
Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Nursing the Regional Nursing Director is responsible for the overall quality and supervision of the Regional Floating DONs within their region. In alignment with the strategic departmental plan set by the Sr. Director of Nursing, the Regional Nursing Director advises staff on administrative changes, recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and the quality of nursing services within their region. In addition, this position works to align nursing staff with organization goals and is responsible for ensuring that the care provided is consistent with the best practice that meets Telecare's standards of excellence.

Full-Time | AM | Shifts : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM | Days : Monday Friday
Expected starting wage range is $157,519.25 - $194,565.62. The full wage range goes up to $231,611.98. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Essential Functions
Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values and beliefs in everyday language and contact with the internal and external stakeholders.
Requires travel 30% 60% annually.
Act as a key liaison, working closely with Regional Medical Directors, Regional VPs and RDOs, HRBPs, and Program Leadership for the recruitment and retention of nursing staff for the assigned regions.
Plans, organizes, directs and supervises the roles of the Regional Floating DONs
Conducts Performance Appraisals for assigned staff. If MSN prepared, participates in the supervision as required by regulatory agencies to non-MSN DONs in the region.
Provides supervision for LVNs working in community and residential programs within the region.
Consults with operations on adequate nurse staffing that meets the clinical demand for all programs in their region and within budgetary parameters.
Provides facility / program DON role on a temporary basis when Regional Floating DONs are not available, at designated facilities until critical vacancy is filled.
Makes use of management practices that include empowerment of staff, the provision of clear and concise expectations regarding duties assigned to employees, frequent feedback focusing on both positive and problematic aspects of work performance, and other management practices that are consistent with Continuous Quality improvement.
Promotes and maintains harmonious and effective relationships and communication within the department and other departments.
Acts as clinical liaison and Telecare spokesperson with outside stakeholders as requested (County, State, licensing, accrediting organizations, member organizations, etc.)
Participates in committees such as Quality Assurance Performance Improvement, Utilization Review, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics for assign regions.
Collaborates with other administrative staff in strategic planning activities with the goal of ensuring ongoing effectiveness of the facility.
Collaborates in the development of Nursing Services policies and procedures, protocols, and performance standards works with operations and the quality department to ensure that the facilities within their assigned regions maintain compliance with all related state, federal, and local licensing regulations and accreditation standards.
Participates in Root Cause Analyses and reviews incident reports as directed. Makes recommendations for risk management and continuous quality improvement.
Establishes and defines standards that ensure safe and therapeutically effective nursing care.
Assesses the quality of care rendered by facilities and nursing staff within their assigned regions.
Establishes and maintains a comprehensive Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement Program within the nursing programs; this includes frequent collaboration with other departments, employee education, and a focus on monitoring departmental standards; actively removes barriers to the provision of high-quality care.
Participates in committees, in corporate meetings including, but not limited to Program Standards, Quality Assurance and Process Improvement, Risk Management at the discretion of the Sr. Director of Nursing.
