Overview
Our global client is seeking a highly skilled Lead Service Technician to join our team in the Berrien County, MI area. This full-time, salaried position offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment used in industrial applications . The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership abilities, providing hands-on service and support while guiding a team to deliver outstanding results.
This role requires domestic and international travel to customer sites, where you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management : Lead and mentor a team of technicians, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
- Installation & Commissioning : Install and commission equipment at customer sites, including wiring, fluid connections, and system setup per specifications.
- Preventative Maintenance : Perform inspections, adjustments, and servicing to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
- Troubleshooting & Repair : Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues through system analysis, error codes, and physical inspections.
- Customer Interaction : Build strong relationships by addressing customer concerns, providing guidance, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Technical Support : Respond to inquiries and provide remote troubleshooting when necessary.
- Parts Management : Maintain inventory of spare parts and ensure timely availability for repairs.
- Documentation : Complete accurate service reports detailing work performed, parts used, and customer feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications
