Olaro is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Must have 1.5 years of experience – system requirement

Will you accept a first-time traveler? No

RN :  BLS, ACLS ,  PALS

Comfortability with Preop, Recovery and Discharge of patients.

Comfortability to have boarded patients if hospital census is full and there are no inpatient beds available.

These skills are needed in addition to competencies in the below.

Variable shift RN : May be learned in orientation, but competencies include : IV insertion, ventilator training, epidural / PCA set up / initiation, initiation of blood product transfusions, competency with administration and monitoring of moderate sedation (will not work Intra-op in Endo but would prep and recover), critical thinking..
