Overview

Main Street Music is looking for a new music therapist to take on clients in person at our location in Mullica Hill, NJ. These sessions would be provided in a one on one format. This position is part time and would start with one day per week. Schedules are expanded as we sign up clients. Our current music therapist is completely booked and we're looking for someone to take the overflow.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one music therapy sessions in person at the studio.

Qualifications

  • College degree in music therapy is required.
  • Board certification is required.

  • Studio policies ensure schedule / income stability for therapists.
  • Paid advertising to help keep schedules full year-round.
  • Dedicated administrative staff work Monday through Saturday and handle all administrative duties including scheduling, billing, signing up new students, etc.
  • The studio average therapist rate of pay is $42 / hour. Therapists are paid a fixed, unique rate based on the length of the session, averaging $42 / hour.
