Occupational Therapist (Rehabilitation) – Travel Position

Location : Craig, CO

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 5x7s Days

Pay : $2,055 / week

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a rehabilitation setting in Craig, CO, on a travel contract. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients recovering from illness, surgery, or injury, with the goal of restoring independence in daily living skills, mobility, and functional activities. The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable, and experienced in rehabilitation care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients’ functional abilities, cognitive skills, and therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including ADL retraining, upper extremity strengthening, mobility exercises, and adaptive techniques.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, safety strategies, and use of assistive equipment.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physical therapy, speech therapy, and nursing staff to ensure patient-centered, coordinated care.
• Support patient independence and recovery through evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
