Chesapeake Systemsis looking for an Inside Sales - Technical support representative

to join our

Engineered Products Group

and hit the ground running. This position requires correspondence with the sales team, customers, and manufacturers. The position requires extensive knowledge in core product lines and proficiency in making equipment selections. Someone

who hasgreat attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, people skills, the ability towork in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be a part of a great team!

Essential Functions

Develop a general workingknowledge of Chesapeake systems and the products, services and solutionsthat we represent.

Learn and use factoryselection software to select prices and provide the best equipmentselection for each application based on the customers' request and biddocuments (narratives, plans, and specifications)

Assist outside sales teamwith generation of technical submittal documents. This includes reviewingjob drawings, specifications, and equipment selections in order to providetechnical submittal documents for review and approval prior to release ofequipment.

Work closely with customersand manufacturers to coordinate all aspects of delivery, installationassistance, start-up and warranty issues

  • Learn and apply internalprocesses and programs to maximize customer satisfaction and increaseoverall productivity

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in atechnical or business-related field is preferred but not required.

Proficient in Windowsenvironment, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook,Excel, TEAMS, etc.

Collaborative attitude thatthrives in a team-based environment while supporting the team as anindividual contributor.

Excellent communication(verbal and written), coordination, and teamwork skills.

Job Type : Full-Time

Base Pay : $65,000 - $75,000 , Commensurate with experience. This range represents a general guideline; however, a number of factors are considered when determining base pay offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions
