We are seeking a Senior Construction Superintendent to lead and manage our foundation and concrete projects at the highest level. This is a critical leadership role for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar construction projects and inspiring excellence in teams.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Project Oversight :
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of foundation and concrete projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Anticipate and resolve potential challenges to maintain workflow and project continuity.
Leadership and Team Management :
Provide visionary leadership to project teams, including site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence on all job sites.Mentor and develop mid-level management staff for future leadership roles.Client and Stakeholder Relations :
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and senior stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.Represent the company in client meetings, site walks, and project updates.Quality and Safety Assurance :
Ensure all work meets or exceeds company quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.Enforce strict adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols.Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance and address potential risks.Data-Driven Decision Making :
Monitor and analyze project performance metrics, making informed adjustments to improve efficiency and profitability.Maintain detailed project records, including reports on progress, safety, and resource utilization.Qualifications
Experience :
Minimum 10+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects, with a focus on foundation and concrete work.Demonstrated success in delivering projects over $5 million in value.Education :
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.Skills :
Expert knowledge of concrete construction techniques, equipment, and materials.Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Sage 100, Smartsheet).Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and technical plans.Certifications :
OSHA 30 Certification required.PMP or other project management certifications highly preferred.Attributes :
