Internal Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed : October 6, 2025 - April 11, 2026 6 month initial duration Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM Clinical Details : Outpatient Responsibilities Only Daily Patient Census : 18 patients per day Call Ratio : Balanced call ratio split between physicians and sites Support Staff : Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), MA EMR : Cerner Primary Responsibilities : Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury Collaborate and manage APPs Requirements : MD or DO degree Board-certified in Internal Medicine Licensed to practice medicine in California Proven experience in a primary care setting
