Position Summary :
Join Valley View Hospital as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in both Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging. Key Responsibilities :
Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging procedures with precision and attention to detail.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to safety protocols.
Ensure high-quality imaging and adhere to departmental and regulatory standards.
Monitor patients throughout procedures, providing compassionate care and clear communication.
Maintain accurate documentation and recordkeeping of procedures and patient information.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
Comply with all safety regulations and radiation protection guidelines.
Certifications & Licensing (Required) :
ARRT_N and / or NMTCB Certification in Nuclear Medicine and PET
Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
Flu Vaccine for 2025 / 2026 (Required)
What You Bring :
Proven experience in both Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging modalities.
Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and patient care standards.
Excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to adapt to a variable schedule, including occasional 8-hour shifts.
Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Preferred Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a hospital setting performing Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures.
Experience working with advanced imaging equipment and multi-modality training.
Demonstrated ability to handle call rotations and flexible scheduling.
Additional Requirements :
Valid ARRT_N and / or NMTCB Certification
Valid state licensure as required by state regulations.
Completion of all required certifications prior to start date.
