American Traveler is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist with ARRT R certification and at least 1 year of experience for a critical access hospital evening shift assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a critical access hospital with 25 staffed bedsX-Ray Tech position in the Radiology / Cardiology departmentEvening shifts, 5x8 hours, from 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PMClinicians may float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as requiredUses Cerner for charting and EMR documentation; position-specific Cerner experience may be requiredMay care for various patient populations typical of a critical access hospital settingAny solid color scrubs may be wornPrimary responsibilities include performing X-Ray imaging procedures for inpatients and outpatients in a critical access environmentAll travelers are expected to float as needed throughout the facility and to affiliate hospitalsCandidates must complete lab appointment, Docusigns, and badge photo within 1 week of signing the contractModules and virtual onboarding must be completed on the first dayMust work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the assignmentNo radius restriction for local candidatesParking is provided at no cost with a permit completed during orientationAny permanent or PRN Memorial employees must have a 12-month gap before applying as a traveler\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 1 year X-Ray Tech experience requiredCurrent ARRT R certification requiredBLS certification preferredIllinois state license required if applicableFirst-time travelers are acceptedMust arrive 3 business days before start if a state license is not required for fingerprintsApplication, resume, skills checklist, and 2 professional supervisor references from the last 2 years requiredMust provide a full 7-year work history with explained gapsMust be able to float within hospital and to nearby affiliated facilities as needed\n Benefits\n
