Supply Chain Manager

Selectek is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to manage the procurement and production planning. This person will need to develop relations with domestic and international suppliers.

Required :

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
Minimum of 7-10 years of strategic sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong and effective interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with employees, suppliers, and customers.
Attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Preferred :

Masters degree.

Create and execute strategic sourcing plans, policies, and documents for key commodities in alignment with the strategic initiatives of the company.

Lead supplier cost reduction and quality improvement programs.

Create and manage written supplier contracts.

Supervise financial audit and physical inventory activities when required.

Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.

Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of quality and delivery factors affecting the supply chain. Meet routinely with internal and external suppliers to resolve gaps.

Lead supply chain team coordinating engineering changes, product line extension, or new product launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions.

Provide information and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials.

Identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.

Develop and maintain safety stock levels and forecast of materials and supplies located at the company and at supplier sites.

Analyze current inventories and procedures; suggest improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain.

Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.

Job order :

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to manage a small team of three people and the process side of supply chain operation for the client. The ideal candidate is someone who has worked with raw material (metals - steel, galvanized metal, aluminum, silver) and worked with vendors on agreements and pricing. This person will be in charge of doing quality checks on the vendors (evaluations).

Pay range :

$120,000 - $140,000 with a possible 10% bonus

Term of assignment : Direct Hire

Hours and shift :

Monday Friday, 7AM - 4 : 30 CDT

Work from home / remote :

Overtime expected : possible

Work attire : Business Casual
