Position Description

Coordinates fitness programs for the Recreation Center. Organizes and instructs exercise classes for all fitness levels. Ensures that all participants are properly trained on the use of the facility's exercise equipment. Responsible for making sure the exercise area and equipment are safe and clean. Works under general supervision.

Major / Essential Functions

• Design and Deliver Engaging Workouts : Plan and execute safe, effective, and motivating workouts aligned with the specific format(s) taught. Classes should be structured to meet the needs of participants at varying fitness levels.
• Lead Fitness Sessions in Specialized Formats : Instructors may teach in one or more of the following areas, with the appropriate certifications :

F45 Training and Personal Training : Must hold a valid Personal Training Certification accredited through the NCCA such as NASM, ACE, NSCA, NCSF or ISSA. Responsible for developing individualized workout programs, assessing client progress, and providing safe technique correction.

Arrive early to prepare the space, equipment, and music.

Required Qualifications

Completion of high school or the equivalent with no experience.
