Recruitment Coordinator - Internal Medicine (Weight Management)
Recruitment Coordinator within the Division of Physical Activity and Weight Management supports the growth, visibility, and mission of the Community Health Improvement Program (CHIP) by developing and executing strategies to increase program awareness, enhancing participant enrollment, and building a broad and sustainable referral network. This position works with individuals with intellectual disabilities including Down syndrome, their families, healthcare professionals, and community partners. The Community Health Improvement Program for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (CHIP-ID), a research initiative within the Division of Physical Activity and Weight Management, conducts a growing portfolio of NIH-funded research aimed at improving health, wellness, and quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities, with particular emphasis on individuals with Down syndrome. The program integrates research, clinical practice, and training to develop and implement evidence-based strategies that promote health outcomes.

Work Environment
This position requires travel within the Kansas City Metro area and occasional travel throughout the state to visit prospective partners. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
Required Qualifications
Work Experience : Four years of relevant work experience. Education may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in public health, communications, marketing, business administration or related field of study.

Compensation Statement : The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
