Job Title : Mainframe Developer

Location : Omaha, NE (Onsite)

Responsibilities :

  • Design, code, test, and debug mainframe programs using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
  • Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Support production jobs, identify defects, and ensure system stability.
  • Prepare technical documentation and follow SDLC best practices.

Required Skills :

  • Strong experience with COBOL , JCL , VSAM , DB2 , CICS , and IMS .
  • Hands-on experience with batch and online programming .
  • Knowledge of Changeman / Endevor , File-Aid , and Xpeditor .
  • Understanding of mainframe scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, CA7).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
