About This Role :

A Mental Health Professional works under the direction of the Mental Health Treatment Director and under the clinical supervision of the Mental Health Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical services-including providing diagnostic assessments and individual / group / family psychotherapy. The majority of client visits are performed via telehealth video visit.

Requirements

Must be qualified in at least one of the following :

Hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in the behavioral sciences, or related fields (e.g. psychology, social work etc.), and is on a track for an independent licensure in the State of Minnesota (LICSW, LP, LMFT, LPCC)

OR...

Enrolled in an accredited graduate level program in the behavioral sciences, or related fields and on a track for an independent licensure in the State of Minnesota (LICSW, LP, LMFT, LPCC) and

have a minimum of 1,500 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services to adults, adolescents and / or children with mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental disorders or traumatic brain injuries

Preferred Knowledge Areas :

Understand the causes and symptoms of mental health issues, a knowledge of coping skills, risk assessment, family dynamics and supports, crisis management, relapse prevention, conflict resolution skills, have analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of substance abuse and co-occurring mental illness and how they intersect.

Understand crisis management and the ability to deal with life threatening situations including the prevention of suicide.

Knowledge and experience creating treatment plans, writing progress notes, and creating client assessments.

Salary Description

$64,000.00 - $81,000.00 Per year
