About The Position

• Experience :
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist and preferred minimum 1 year experience in Mammography
• License :
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Certifications :
• ARRT Mammography
• ARRT Radiography
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS Instructor
• Must-Have :
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to function independently and under pressure
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively
• Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking
• Competent in all aspects of Mammography, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Job Description :
• Provide safe, age-appropriate care to patients by performing all exams according to department procedures.
• Independently perform diagnostic imaging procedures and set up equipment.
• Obtain complete clinical history and assess patients for contraindications.
• Ensure quality patient care by verifying unique patient identifiers and clinician orders.
• Practice infection control and maintain equipment according to department cleaning schedules.
• Explain procedures thoroughly to patients using the AIDET framework.
• Produce high-quality images, maintaining a first-time acceptance rate of 95%.
• Participate in the orientation and training of departmental employees.
• Maintain accreditation standards and complete documentation for quality control tests.
• Transport and position patients safely and efficiently.
• Keep the department organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and department staff.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, standards, and codes of conduct.
