Position Overview
EELA is seeking a dynamic and passionate Teacher to add to our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, patient, and deeply committed to creating a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the growth of the whole child. Ability to work flexible shifts to meet organizational and staffing needs
Qualifications
- CDA, or Associate’s in Early Childhood Education or related field (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Current CPR / First Aid, background check, and TB test (or willingness to obtain).
- Passionate, energetic, and committed to continuous growth and learning.

Requirements : Key Responsibilities
Create and implement lesson plans aligned with Ohio’s Early Learning Standards and EELA’s philosophy.Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.Support children’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development through play-based and structured activities.Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and classroom happenings.Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and developmental milestones.Collaborate with co-teachers, assistants, and administrators to support classroom goals.Uphold licensing, safety, and EELA’s quality assurance standards.
