The Microvellum Engineer will be responsible for converting architectural drawings and design concepts into engineered production-ready shop drawings and deliverables using Microvellum. This role operates within a semi-catalog-based engineering environment—developing sound, engineering-driven drawing and production release practices that uphold EGR's commitment to accuracy, quality, and craftsmanship. Serving as a bridge between project management and production, the Microvellum Engineer ensures that every detail is precise, components are manufacturable, and processes are optimized for quality and efficiency. This position plays a key role in fostering teamwork, maintaining a strong work ethic, and delivering projects on time with the highest level of professionalism.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering , or related field. 3 – 5 years of experience working within a woodworking manufacturing environment is preferred. Must be proficient in 2D AutoCAD, 3D applications is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to speak effectively with peers, teams, and project managers. Must communicate information and ideas clearly, accurately, and concisely in writing. Must be able to read and understand information presented in writing.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Able to work with mathematical concepts such as algebra. Able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions throughout the company. Ability to deal with problems in a professional manner while seeking solutions-oriented outcomes.
