job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPrepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and patching as needed Apply paint, stain, or coatings to interior and exterior surfaces Match paint colors Use brushes, rollers, or sprayers effectively Protect surrounding areas using drop cloths and tape Clean tools and work area upon completion of job Communicate clearly with clients and team members Ensure jobs are completed on schedule and to company standards Proven experience as a painter Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work Familiarity with a variety of painting tools and techniques Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs Have reliable transportation that can haul ladders and materials, current auto insurance, and a valid driver's license, and clean driving record. Excellent customer service and communication skills Must pass a background check Occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects. Climbing stairs and ladders using proper safety measures. Bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and standing for lengthy periods of time. Follow worksite safety and cleanliness protocols. Cold or hot weather. Wet or humid conditions. Moderate noise working with power tools and equipment.
