Collider is the #1 entertainment website and publishes up-to-the-minute news on blockbuster movies, TV shows, video games, comic books, music and other forms of entertainment. Collider is seeking experienced and passionate contributors who can create original high-quality content in a timely manner.

Collider is seeking a dynamic Entertainment video editor to join our team. This role focuses on covering major events in the entertainment industry, including film festivals, film premieres, award shows, and celebrity interviews. The ideal candidate will have passion for and intimate knowledge of entertainment and experience in the field covering the industry.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and dynamic video editor to join our team and work closely with our Creative Producer. The selected candidate will be responsible for editing interviews and B-roll related to various events, interviews, and red carpet premieres, in a timely manner to produce high-quality content for Colliders website and social platforms. This video creator role will also collaborate closely with our news and social media teams to ensure the swift delivery of content to our audience.

Your Responsibilities

• Edit and upload video content efficiently to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high production standards.
• Coordinate with the social media team to ensure timely distribution of video content across various platforms.
• Communicate effectively with Creative Producer and other team members to align on content priorities and deadlines.
• Stay informed about industry trends and developments to contribute creative ideas for video content.
• Assist in the development of video production workflows and best practices to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all video content produced for Collider.
