Work you'll do :

As a GBS Senior Consultant, you will support the execution of projects around the strategy, design, and implementation of creative business and technology solutions aimed at driving operational effectiveness, cost efficiencies, and organizational agility. In this role, you will own deliverables that architect and guide strategies and transformation programs that enable growth and value creation by driving innovation into core business operations, standardizing and simplifying the way work gets done, and optimizing service delivery models.

You will be responsible for owning work products and activities that drive business model transformations and cultivating enterprise agility to ensure transformations are anchored in, and unlock, value. As a Senior Consultant, you will also play a key role in developing client relationships, mentoring teams, and contributing to practice growth.

The team :

Our Global Business Services (GBS) offering specializes in transforming corporate functions by centralizing and optimizing service delivery. We deliver resilient, agile, and cost-effective outcomes that advance the CFO, CAOs and other executive stakeholders' agendas. Our solutions and capabilities support ERP-enabled transformation through the functional design, implementation, and governance of processes, controls, and policies.

Qualifications : Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline

4+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience specifically within Shared Services, Outsourcing, Offshoring, or back-office functional optimization

Demonstrated experience in service delivery model strategy, design, implementation, and optimization for multi-functional or single-function entities

Knowledge of multiple GBS (Global Business Services) pillars, including but not limited to HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Commercial Operations, or Legal

Hands-on experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Familiarity with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or comparable customer-oriented workflow platforms

Exposure to ERPs and understanding of their role in enabling GBS operations

Experience with digital transformation, AI, and automation technologies as applied to GBS operations, including current and emerging use cases for AI in GBS

Proven financial modeling / analysis and business case development skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Demonstrated ability to create storyboards and presentations for diverse audiences, including at the executive level

Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries / sectors you serve

Preferred

Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Outstanding interpersonal, team-building, and communication abilities : both oral and written

Demonstrated integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion in professional settings

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environments; manages multiple priorities seamlessly

Capable of working independently, influencing stakeholders, and providing leadership to diverse, multi-disciplinary teams

Possesses executive presence along with advanced leadership skills

Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)

Certifications in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) are a plus

Prior experience in Business Process Outsourcing vendor selection

Ability to effectively translate technology functionality into business process improvements

Prior experience in developing proposals

MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,950 - $218,600.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
