About the Role :

The Shared Living Support role is designed to provide oversight, coordination, and compliance support for Shared Living Providers (SLPs) and participants receiving services through My Life LLC. The role focuses on ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to state and federal requirements. This position involves conducting monitoring visits, supporting SLPs with required documentation and training, and serving as a liaison among providers, participants, guardians, and Service Coordinators. The oal is to maintain a safe, supportive, and person-centered environment that enhances the quality of life for individuals served.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.(Bachelor 's degree in Human Services or related field preferred).
  • Experience in developmental disability services, case management, or compliance oversight.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work with diverse individuals and families.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of Nebraska developmental disability waiver services.
  • Certification in CPR / First Aid.
  • Experience in compliance monitoring, provider oversight, or service coordination.
  • Familiarity with ISP / PCP processes and person-centered planning.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Conduct regular Shared Living home visits and document findings per My Life LLC and DHHS requirements.
  • Monitor provider compliance with training, credentialing, and documentation standards.
  • Support SLPs in meeting service expectations and provide guidance on program requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between providers, participants, guardians, and Service Coordinators.
  • Track backup staffing hours, participant attendance issues, and service adherence.
  • Identify and escalate compliance issues tor participant concerns to management / QA.

    • Skills :

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for working with providers, participants, and families.
  • Ability to interpret and apply state regulations and agency policies.
  • Organizational skills for managing multiple providers and participants simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills for addressing compliance issues and participant needs.

    • Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, with occasional overtime
