Job Details – Atlanta NICU RN Travel Contract Estimated Weekly Pay : $1880 - $2020 Assignment Type : Locum tenens (Travel nursing contract) Location : Atlanta, GA 30329 Healthcare Setting : Level 3 / 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Start Date : October 27, 2025 End Date : January 26, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks (with possible extension) Nursing Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend or block scheduling Floating : Required to float to other departments and sister campuses within a 12-mile radius Holiday Coverage : Must be willing to work either Christmas Day, the day before, or the day after Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at submission) Minimum 2 years of recent NICU nursing experience Level 3 or Level 4 NICU experience preferred Current PALS (AHA only) and BLS certifications NRP certification preferred Epic EMR experience preferred BSN preferred, but not required Recent travel nurse experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Compliance with nicotine-free campus policy NICU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates in a Level 3 / 4 NICU Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Float to other departments and sister campuses as needed Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR Participate in scheduled holiday and weekend coverage Adhere to facility compliance and safety protocols Apply now to join our Atlanta healthcare team as a Travel NICU Registered Nurse and make a difference in neonatal care!
