Senior Accounting Manager

Job Description

Manage the preparation and review of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.

Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and tax regulations.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address findings effectively.

Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and development.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Support cross-departmental initiatives by providing financial expertise and analysis.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

6+ years of experience in accounting

Experienced accounting manager level candidate

Experience in the manufacturing industry

SAP S4Hana experience a plus

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
