Claims Manager

A company is looking for a Claims Manager to oversee the administrative management of claims and provide strategic oversight of medical malpractice liability claims.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze incidents and claims forwarded to the Claims Department

Coordinate in-house New Claims Analysis and collaborate with TPA or commercial adjuster for defense counsel retention

Make strategic recommendations for case management and assist in mediations and trials

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; JD preferred

Paralegal certification or Master's in nursing will also be considered

Minimum of three years of experience in a law firm or liability insurer

Broad knowledge of legal principles and claims management processes

Able to work autonomously and manage daily workflow effectively
