Portfolio Manager - Commodity Finance

About this role :

Wells Fargo is seeking a Portfolio Manager as part of the Specialized Industry - Commodity Finance group in the Commercial Bank. The client portfolio is primarily comprised of commodity traders and marketers in the Energy / Ag / Metals space throughout the United States. This is a junior underwriting role supporting credit portfolio management to meet the long-term financial objectives and risk tolerance for commercial banking clients. In this role, you will :

• Participate in Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management assignments; identify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities or functional area
• Review and analyze complex business, operational and technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives; exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
• Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management function including policies, procedures and compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with Mid Corporate Portfolio Management peers, colleagues, internal stakeholders as well as internal and external customers to resolve issues and achieve goals
