Role

The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will manage all phases of operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration, and risk management. As an on-site leader, you will supervise all aspects of the property and staff to ensure compliance with Asset Living policies and procedures, safety, fair housing guidelines, and liability considerations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Personnel Management : screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff; ensure ongoing training and guidance in compliance with Asset training benchmarks.
• Scheduling : complete weekly / daily office and maintenance staff schedules and assignments.
• Performance management : address performance issues, document appropriately, communicate with supervisor and HR, and terminate when necessary.
• Staff development : promote harmony and quality job performance through leadership and support; ensure policy compliance.
• Financial Management : improve net operating income through cost control and revenue / leasing initiatives; develop operating budgets / forecasts; monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges; monitor vendor invoices; ensure timely financial reporting.
• Strategic Leasing Management : develop yearly marketing plans, implement leasing strategies, ensure effective lease closure, follow-up, documentation, and reporting.
• Resident relations : address resident complaints and requests; develop retention programs; show, lease, and move-in prospective residents.
• Administrative & Maintenance Management : ensure accurate leasing reporting; lead emergency response; monitor service requests and property appearance; manage resources and coordinate maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation activities.

Full-time employees also receive paid sick days and holidays.

Salary Range : $27 per year to $28 per year
