Safety Manager

This position involves overseeing safety considerations for a solar construction project at a plant in Ontario, CA. The role requires managing safety protocols and ensuring subcontractors adhere to safety guidelines, while providing daily on-site oversight and serving as the main point of communication between the company and the client.

Responsibilities

Oversee all on-site safety considerations daily.
Ensure all subcontractors adhere to safety guidelines.
Manage daily safety and QA / QC reporting.
Act as the liaison between the company and the client.
Conduct daily safety meetings.
Provide regular communication on project progress.

Requirements

OSHA 510 Certification, required

5+ years of safety experience on a construction site or industrial plant.

Ability to conduct daily meetings.

Subcontractor management skills.

Safety training and management proficiency.

Quality control and quality assurance experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working on solar projects is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00 / hr.
