IT Operations Intern(Green Bay, WI)

Job Summary :

The IT Operations Intern is responsible for supporting the IT Operations department, primarily working with the Desktop Support team under the Senior IT Technical Support Manager. The role involves a variety of tasks, including installing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware and software, assisting with network gear and physical security systems, and supporting Cellcom's Summer Celebration Events by managing IT equipment. Interns will gain hands-on experience with multiple IT teams, making it an excellent opportunity for students pursuing an IT degree who have experience working in LAN / WAN environments and basic software installation skills.

Responsibilities & Duties :

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and dispose of computer hardware and software.
• Assist in replacing network gear, wiring, and physical security systems like cameras and card access systems.
• Support the set up, maintenance, and take down of IT equipment for Cellcom's Summer Celebration Events.
• Provide customer service by resolving help desk requests and keeping users informed of progress.
• Train users on technology best practices and perform additional related duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

This role is ideal for students pursuing an IT degree who have basic experience in LAN / WAN environments, software installation, and are eager to gain hands-on experience in IT operations.
