As the Director of Business Development , you will lead a team of six Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and drive strategic growth across the Southern California territory. This role is a blend of leadership and execution— 75% focused on management and business strategy , and 25% on direct sales efforts .

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Strategy

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing BDR team to exceed sales targets and expand market presence.

• Conduct regular sales calls and performance reviews to assess district progress, identify challenges, and implement solutions.
• Analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and market data to inform strategic decisions and optimize regional performance.
• Develop and execute action plans to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Sales Execution

Prospect and close new retail partners through in-person B2B sales engagements.

Market Development

Identify and recommend new product or service opportunities based on market trends and customer needs.
