Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for pediatric-focused imaging using GE and Siemens 1.5T / 3T equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an MRI department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
  • Role focuses almost exclusively on pediatric and neonatal scanning, with occasional adult, stroke, and trauma patients
  • Day shift schedule : Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM
  • No call required
  • Utilizes GE and Siemens MRI systems (1.5T and 3T)
  • Requires experience with EPIC EMR, minimum 1 year
  • Floating to other qualified units or campuses may be required based on census needs
  • Primary duties include performing MRI studies for pediatric, neonatal, trauma, and stroke patients
  • Will work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary imaging team
  • Orientation is provided every Monday
  • Pre-assignment modules must be completed prior to start; module hours up to 16 are reimbursed
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Scrub or dress code details will be provided during onboarding

    • Requirements

  • Current ARRT certification required (ARMRIT is not accepted)
  • Strong MRI experience with demonstrated competency in pediatric imaging
  • Previous Children’s Hospital experience preferred
  • Experience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in MRI preferred
  • Ability to scan patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, and adults
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility for eligibility; full travel benefits at 100+ miles distance
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR required (minimum 1 year experience)
  • License required if applicable
