Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Lead Patient Care Technician, you will play a crucial role in the nursing team, delivering compassionate care to our patients. You will provide hands-on patient care, assist with advanced procedures, and mentor both new and experienced colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include :

Performing all duties associated with the Patient Care Technician role.

Assisting in the hiring process, including participation in peer interviews.

Developing orientation materials and assisting with new staff onboarding.

Serving as a role model and resource for peers.

Conducting meetings with new hires during orientation and providing guidance.

Ensuring timely communication of new processes and policies to the team.

Leading by example, reflecting positive feedback from patients and staff.

What qualifications you will need :

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

CNA, LNA, EMT, or Military Medic training preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting or as a military medic preferred.

At least 1 year of experience within a HCA facility is preferred.
