LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Oncology PA in California!

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California. This role starts on Oct 13, 2025, and follows an 8-hour day shift schedule, Monday through Friday. The assignment focuses on medical oncology cases, and candidates must have recent oncology experience and be board certified in medical oncology. Familiarity with Cerner EMR is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide direct patient care for medical oncology cases
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for oncology patients
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of care
  • Document patient encounters and treatment plans using Cerner EMR
  • Ensure compliance with established protocols and standards of care

  • Must have a valid California license
  • Board certification in medical oncology required
  • Recent experience in oncology is essential
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR
