Lighting Service Engineer

Brooksource is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lighting Services Engineer I to join our team. This role involves working on lighting design and distribution projects. The ideal candidate will have an engineering or technical degree and be capable of working independently in various environmental conditions.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Design and implement lighting solutions for various projects.
• Utilize lighting design experience to enhance project outcomes.
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Use basic tools for fieldwork, including hammering stakes into the ground.
• Navigate and work on uneven terrain in varying weather conditions.
• Operate a vehicle (car or truck) for project-related travel.
• Qualifications :
• Engineering or other technical degree preferred.
• Experience with co-op programs or distribution / transmission is highly desired.
• Lighting design experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a car or truck.
• Ability to endure temperature extremes (Alabama summer and winter).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and priority computer programs.
